  • Bissell Cleanview Deluxe Corded Handheld Vacuum, 47R51 Reviews By Customers
  • Well, I just got my Bissell handheld vacuum in the mail yesterday. I tried it out right away and I was immediately pleased by the weight (not too heavy), the handle configuration (on top, not on the side where handling and dexterity can get awkward) and the power of the motor and suction. I think it's pretty powerful for a small handheld vac. I really like the fact that it came with a hose and multiple attachments for tight corners and spaces. The cord is a decent length, too, although I wish they had cordless options for this model. The only real complaint I have is the powerful burst of air that shoots from the vents on each side. It's a powerful motor, so I understand that you have vent that air somehow, but it's so forceful that I notice it actually creates resistance against my leg when I hold it at my side. That gust of air can become problematic when trying to tackle a pile of dirt, but it's all about maneuvering and handling.

Other than that, I really like this thing! I put away that big, bulky vacuum I had to lug around, so that was a nice feeling. I highly recommend this for people who live in smaller units and condos and have limited storage space.

So far, I am pleased with this handheld Bissell. It has a lot of power for a little vaccum. It's great for cleaning off my drapes or other things that are hard to reach with a Normal vaccum.

Very good vacuum cleaner. I selected it out based on Consumer Reports rating and it cleans very well. I would recommend it to a friend.

  • Powerful little handheld vacuum. - Manny the Daddy - Queens, NY
This is exactly what Mom wanted. Lightweight yet powerful. She specifically wanted a corded handheld so the power supply is consistent. It does get a little hot, but it's ideal for quick cleanups or vacuuming the carpeted stairs. The compartment that holds the dirt is easy to clean out, as is the filter. Very nice little vacuum.

  • Haan HS-20 Deluxe Personal Sanitizing Handheld Steam Cleaner with Attachments Reviews By Customers
  • after much research, i purchased this steamer. the instructions for use were not very good but i eventually figured it out and went on to steam my bathroom toilet, tub and sink. since i am elderly and am not able to clean regularly using "elbow grease," it took a few passes w this steamer but using a cloth to quickly clean up the soil worked fine. I am unable to reach and bend so the Haan helped tremendously in that respect, too! also, i live in a condo and find the window screens gather dust and look horrid! the steaner worked perfectly in removing the built-up dust and dirt!

once you have cleaned w this steamer, it becomes a quick "touch-up" tool because a few passes w the steamer every so often will help you keep your premises sparkling clean!

I had high hopes for this - USA -
I had high hopes for this after reading all the positive reviews. That is why I chose this brand. At first I thought my hopes would be met. The steamer is heavy in weight and seems well made, with a very thick cord and nice heavy attachments. I bought a gallon of distilled water to use in it. I first used it in my bathroom. I did the sink bowl, the toilet, and part of the tub before the steam ran out. However, there was a little problem. After the first few moments, I had to hold the pot upright, with the nozzle pointing up or no steam would come out. I could not point the nozzle down or the steam would stop. That was a little problematic when doing the tub. The steam was also finished in less than five minutes. I shook it to be sure it was out of water. I unplugged it, opened the nozzle valve to let any residual steam there might be inside bleed out and let it cool down a bit before I opened the cap to put in some more distilled water. When I went to close the cap, however, the cap would not lock down but instead when I plugged it in to let it heat up, steam poured out around the cap. I unplugged it, let it cool down and again did the turn, push down, turn sequence and again steam poured out around the cap so it is going back and I will think about trying a different brand. Their cap needs a better locking mechanism.

  • A Nifty Little Gadget - Jim -
I found the Haan Steamer adequate for the job it states it can do. It produced steam which melted greasy dirt that I was then able to wipe away with a wet sponge and sometimes a little cleanser. I read the negative reviews, but I believe they were due to overly high expectations. Yes, the steam was short-lived, but quickly rebooted so I got the job done with a minimum of elbow grease.

  • Steam Doesn't Clean As Well As One Might Think - Jerry J - Boise, ID USA
This device does shoot a blast of steam. Unfortunately, the steam does not clean as well as one might think. A rag with hot water and Mr. Clean works far better (and easier). Too bad the steam disappoints. I could hold my hand about five inches away from the tip and the steam only felt "warm." It's really not that hot and not that intense.

    I will return it.
