Black & Decker CHV1568 15.6 -Volt Cyclonic-Action Cordless DustBuster with AccuREACH Reviews By Customers

Well i've owned quite a few hand Vac's in my time. Thus far this is the best one I've owned.

Good points

- Quietest one I've ever owned. Doesn't bother my ears at all and I'm whiny about noise
- Strong suction so far, not surprising with the bigger batteries
- Very easy to dump the holder. One button and its dumped. Don't have to remove anything else to get it emptied. Previous ones always required removing the end and then pulling some other thing out and cleaning this and that.
- Battery pack appears replaceable, so when the battery eventually is garbage on this I'll actually be able to replace it.

Bad Points

- Its a little on the heavy side with the bigger battery pack.
- The on/off switch is a little tough to turn on. My little one really loves to use the hand vac's but this one she can't turn on by herself since the switch is so tough to move.

Black & Decker CHV1568 - Frankie -
This vacuum is as good as hand held vacuums get for under .00. My only concerns are the battery longevity and is Amazon a registered Black & Decker dealer that will process warranty claims. I read feedback on this unit from a few different sources and These people all had the same problems. They buy this to do big jobs with it and it doesn't work out for them very well. I use it for seconds at a time and this vacuum is the best one I have ever owned.

Cordless DustBuster hand vacuum - Charles Block - Enterprise, AL United States
This product is less useful than the 14 volt DustBuster that I replaced. the nozzle on the end of the device can be extended, but the nozzle is smaller than the 14 volt item.

So far, so good. - Mitchell R. Wenger -
Works great so far - just had it a month or so now. More powerful, yet quieter than our previous model. Haven't had a chance to really load it up and test the cyclonic action when it's full, but shouldn't take too long with a dog and an 8-year-old around...

Black & Decker HV9010P Retriever Pet-Series Cyclonic-Action Corded Dustbuster and Blower Reviews By Customers

i bought this "dustbuster" for my daughter who is the proud owner of 2 cats, all 3 of them residing in a small san francisco apartment. she needed something to keep up with the cat hairs and i sent her this product with it's special cat hair filter. SHE LOVES IT! now, she tells me, instead of running after her kitties (to hug them), she's cleaning up each and every hair the minute they shed one. when we talk on the phone, i have to tell her to turn it off so i can hear her. she's single and now i think she's in love...WITH HER NEW DUSTBUSTER!! ;-)
P.S. she still hugs the cats!

Works as intended - Mashif - Nashville, TN USA
As a hand vac with attachments it seems to do a great job. It doesn't replace a full size vac, but for reaching small areas, and getting up pet hair, it's ideal.

GREAT LITTLE VACUUM - Tessa Centeio -
this little vacuum is so powerful!! It works wonderful with and without the attachments. It's even gotten my 7 year old to want to vacuum his room an everything else because its so powerful and fun to use. I would recommend buying the extra filters along with the vacuum as I can see them not lasting very long. I plan on buying the filters today, just to have them on hand, because I would hate to not be able to use it just because I ran out of filters. And I plan on using it alot. Works awesome on hardwood stairs and carpet. I love it!!!

great power,poor design. - trickydick -
Great power, poor design. needs accessories like the HV9010 brush. There's a little area above the inlet that collects debris that is difficult to remove. Great suction though. Accessories from the HV9010 should be included.

Black & Decker CHV9608 9.6 Volt Cyclonic-Action Cordless DustBuster with AccuREACH Reviews By Customers

We previously owned a black & decker dustbuster before this one. They work great for about 3 years if you use them a lot like we do. The battery usually starts charging less and less over time. They are not ment to last long term and you cant just buy a new battery. For the price it fits the use you get out of it. This one is cool because it has a washable filter. This is great for many reasons. You dont have to buy extra filters which can be expensive unless you find them for a great deal on ebay but also because they stop making the models after a year or two and it can be a challenge to find the replacement filters. This one is also cool with the extendable hose which makes it easy to get under small hard to reach places.

great value - Wally Kohl - Lincoln City, OR
the product arrived quicker than I planned and works beautifully.
Definitely an improved design from the 7.2 volt unit that the batteries died on after many, many years.
I would recommend this unit to anyone. It is light weight, easy to use, and powerful for its size.

Nice vacuum - JGM - ODB, TX USA
Over the years, these cordless vacuums have really improved. The Black and Decker 9.6 Volt Cyclonic-Action Dustbuster is a real winner. It is light and powerful. So good that I have given two of these as gifts.

Will the Dustbuster pick up everything? No, of course not. Reading the reviews of not only this vacuum but many other portables, I found that sometimes negative reviews were based on unrealistic expectations for a small portable vacuum.

For the price, this dustbuster is a nice way of cleaning up light spills. I highly recommend it.

Black & Decker PAV1200W 12-Volt Cyclonic-Action Automotive Pivoting-Nose Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Reviews By Customers

I used this product once in my car and once in my parents car so far. The suction isn't bad. I wish the suction was a little stronger but the little vacuum picked up most of the dirt in the car so I was satisfied. It's easy to use and easy to pack up and it comes with a bag to put everything in. The ability to rotate the nose of the vacuum is a HUGE plus for getting into smaller spaces and under the front seat chairs and sides.

As far as cleaning goes, that is pretty easy as well. Just pop the cap off the side of vacuum and dump out the dust and then clean the filter with soap and water.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the product.

What the Heck Amazon! - LoveBoots -
I love Amazon. A lot. However lately the prices have been all of the place. I was really interested in this vacuum after reading about it in my Real Simple magazine. With a new car on the way I thought it would be a perfect fit. Real Simple told me the price was forty dollars. Perfect. However as I'm going to order it today (I'm going to buy it elsewhere now) I see the price has went up fifteen dollars. Even though everywhere else is offering it for forty dollars. Why in the world do you feel the need to raise is fifteen dollars? It isn't a cheap vacuum to begin with. The thing that bugs me the most is that when it was listed at forty dollars it didn't act like it was on sale. Obviously it wasn't since everywhere else still has it listed at forty. So it's like Amazon just raised the price to raise it. Shame on you Amazon. You're losing my business this time, and I won't forget this for next time.
Keep some consistency - especially when prices are published in magazines.
