Sheepskin rugs are a powerful cleaning job all in itself, and many first time carpet buyers are not as secure as the carpet really clean. Depending on whether or not you have a synethic or 100% natural sheepskin, you'll either be able to hand wash or put it in the machine.

Some sheepskins can be machine washed and they are saying on the tag. If that's the case, make sure to wash it in cold water only and never, ever put it in the dryer. If you leave it up to the professionals that should be your local dry cleaning of the position that you take your carpet.
