It's too heavy as a handheld vacuum, also leave a mark on the surface of the furniture. For 8,you will expect it at least doing a good job.No, it doesn't.Do not buy it unless you try it in the store first.
BEAUTIFUL design but weak battery & small container - Fritz the Cat - Toronto
I wanted this vacuum years ago when it was only available in Italy. I found a great condition used one from the seller on Amazon. Thanks!
When fully charged, it works fine at picking up small amounts of water (my primary use for this device). Having a nicad battery means that it loses power fast and gets weak and does not pick-up much of anything at that point. The design engineering is clever and artful. It is loud. I really hope I can one day modify the device to use a lithium battery of the same voltage.
I waited for too many years for Dyson and Hoover to market a stylish wet/dry hand vac. this is the best one out there right now. Just needs a lithium battery and it would be perfect!
