You do not need dirt exposed

Technically, the way you run a wet dry vacuum very similar to how you work a regular basis. Through the intake, dust, dirt and even liquids are collected. Then all the collected dirt pass through a tube that occur to the compartment where they are. It is practically the same, right?

What is different however is that if you have a wet dry vacuum machine, the dirt and dustThey are collected, dissolved in water in the machine. In the case of a regular vacuum cleaner when you dispose of the dirt, the particles come from and you have to fly with them to come in contact. But with a wet cleaning, the particles are already solved and you have just the water, so that the dust will not fly around on.

It can easily clean up liquids

The primary selling point of a wet dry vacuum machine is that iteffectively clean dust and dirt, and if the situation warrants, the vacuum cleaner can easily clean up liquids. However, some people think with a wet dry vacuum machine would be messy because you have the dirt in liquid form. Then again, the drain hose attached to the vacuum cleaner easy and safe disposal of liquid mess. have Gone are the days when wet dry vacuum only in commercial establishments and heavy tanks used to remove the raisedaspirated fluids.

    He is very versatile

The regular vacuum machine proved to be, until we realized we need a cloth every time we get something to spill on the floor as a very versatile cleaning tool. You do not have to do if you have a wet dry vacuum. You can actually use them for any cleaning task you can imagine. to bring Unlike normal vacuum cleaner, it is certainly more dirt with the wet dry vacuum cleaner.

Apart from surfaces, you can also dry the wetVacuum balls, mattresses and other toys that need to inflate inflated. They can be retrieved items that are gone down the drain, and you can clean a pipe. You can use it to solve the snow from the highway and you can use it to clean the chimney. You can forget everything else to the investing only a really good wet / dry vacuum unit, and then you're good to go.

You can choose what size you want

People tend to think of a really wet dry vacuumbulky equipment used commercially. Yes, some wet dry vacuum can was doing great, but now they come in a variety of sizes. You can choose to have a wet dry vacuum cleaner with a half-gallon capacity, or one with a 15-gallon capacity.

Choose wisely on the size of your house (or whatever you in the cleaning). If the field is so large, avoid buying those with the greatest capacity, because you only end up with a vacuum cleaner, which is very cumbersome.

Youcan choose, buy a hand-held wet dry vacuum machine, easy to carry and really versatile. It is ideal for most people, even those who live in big houses, because you can clean almost anything, from your wardrobe in the interior of your car.

  • Shop-Vac #5872462 5GAL 5.5HP Wet/Dry Vac Reviews By Customers
  • The first time I tried this I rated it a four. Now after using it for awhile (or trying) I realize it doesn't get much up. It is great when you are tired because it is light. Good for hard floors. But not much good on carpet. Doesn't have the power of a big shop vac and it doesn't come with a real vacuum cleaner attachment. Not much good at sucking up pet hair off the carpets which I hoped for. Very light though for those days when I don't want to drag around my weighty cumbersome upright Kenmore Progressive. I originally rated this four stars, but after using realized that although its lightness is wonderful, the fact that it doesn't have enough power to do much is a problem. Good for quick jobs though but only on hard surfaces. I tried to change my star rating by editing but I guess Amazon does not permit me to edit that. Sorry folks.

Some good, most bad - Tonka - northwest
I purchased a red/black version - new of course, from a big store.
First, the good stuff - the hose is nice and long and gets the stuff I use it for (general shop debris and inside vehicles); The cord is long also (about 20 foot or so) - I can get nearly all areas easily enough; it is an easily maneuverable unit - just slides wherever I pull it. The blower is nice, also. It is easy to clean out - just clips apart. The on/off switch is expertly placed - very easy to use - but the "off" could be a different color than "on" - so you wouldn't have to READ it when it's facing the other way.

Now, the bad stuff - it does not have a dust brush - you must figure out what might fit and order it separatly (I duct-tapped my old one). The attachment ends do not fit well - constantly come detached or loose. The suction is not so hot - I have to go over and over truck interiors to get dog hairs, same with sawdust in shop; one attachment does not work well pushing - it nust be pulled - creating awkward stumbling on carpeting (I ground the end off for easier comfort for myself). Also, the noise it makes is to loud for me - I have to wear earplugs (the same as I use for flooring, chainsaws etc.).

And now the really bad stuff - The cartridge is bad enough to toss the entire unit. It has a solvent-like odor when using that is so bad I can't use this indoors. Looking around in various stores for a replacement filter, I found them all to be the same (yes, I opened and smelled the same smell, with the clerk right there). I carved myself a frame and packed some foam in it just to use this unit. Contacting Shop Vac with this problem proved futile - they just recommended not using it. The smell is overpowering and sickening to me. It seems to me to be a petroleum based odor I recall smelling once when working with solvents, several years ago. No amount of filtering controls this smell and your hands will smell just handling it (I know that personally). I've tried washing it, drying in outdoor air and nothing seems to work.

My vote - this is not a good unit and you should not waste your time, money and health on it.

  • Excellent power and lightweight - Anne R - Port Washington, WI
This shop vac is easily carried and light weight. It has excellent suction power and has far exceeded my expectations for a shop vac. I have used it to clean dog hair from the carpeting and seats in my car. It did a better job than the industrial strength vacuums at the car wash. Excellent product

Worst DustBuster ever - AVOID!!! - TigerDave - Temecula, CA United States
I've owned several B&D DustBuster's in my life including the original from the early 80's. Since that time, overall design, battery performance, and suction has improved -- for the most part. They still all eventually die and therefore require replacement every few years.

Having great success with our impressively powerful 9.6V Dustbuster (model CHV9600, purchased in 2006), we picked up this 7.2V (model CHV7202) for the laundry room since it claims to be a wet/dry vac and I figured 7.2V would be close in performance to the 9.6V.

    Boy was I wrong!

From Day One, the suction on this model was so poor, it couldn't even pick up tiny bits of dryer lint on the floor! Our 9.6V model could handle anything you could throw at (as long as the items fit through the opening). But this one? Not even close. To make matters worse, I mounted the charging unit on the wall only to find out that it's quite a challenge to actually "dock" the vac for charging due to it's poor design, so we almost never dock it. In fact, we now bring the 9.6V model upstairs to tackle the tasks that this one failed to do.

In short: I'm not sure who greenlighted this model over at B&D, but they should have been fired. Avoid this one at all costs and get the current 9.6V model (or above). We wanted to return ours, but we made this mistake of tossing out the box.

  • Pretty good for the money - J. Van Santvoord -
Considering that this is a pretty inexpensive dustbuster, it's not bad. It does blow air out the back when running, which is a little strange because the air blows in your face. And I wouldn't say it's super powerful. But overall it does the job, and sure beats cleaning up my 16 month-old son's messes by hand. :-)

  • bad design - A. Jain -
I wanted to use it on carpet area in dining room, and in car. It does pick the dust (and other food particles etc), to blow it on my face and distribute fine particles all over the place. Highly disappointed with this product.
